'Vile cyclists receive what they deserve' I can just see the article in the Daily Mail.. A heroic attempt to remind cyclists of their place on the road...
Awful though, worrying the amount of planning someone has put into that.
Not sure how the police would go about catching the culprits either
what a bunch of pricks..
Think I find the fact they painted 70 drawing pins black more disturbing.
what a bunch of pricks..
Yeah, if they want to go racing around they should do it on a race track, not the public road.
I'm becoming less and less surprised by the activities of tossers. Remember they are everywhere.............
....
I hope that BBC article is inaccurate - it says they (the cyclists) were racing, wouldn't that be illegal?
I used to live near Bridgend. Best way to find the culprits is to look for the group of people with the other 130 drawing pins stuck in their hands and faces.
I rode this, but did the shorter route which cut out that section of road.
Absolutely gutted someone could put in so much effort to partentialy cause others such serious injuries.
It was still a brilliant day, fantastic weather and a tough route around beautiful scenery.
Thank you organisers.
