Anyone keen but put off by the cost?

Friend at work and his brother are thinking better of it and want their entries to go to a good home.

Anyone interested?

Not sure why people would want to spend all that money when you can do a similar ride on the same weekend for a whole £8 and that includes breakfast

I did it the first year (2014?). I paid because I'd never done a ride of that distance/elevation before and having food/drink/support available might come in handy. The food stops definitely were, thankfully didn't need the support. Plus it felt slightly special being the first time they did that distance.

It's rare that I'd pay for a public road ride now but it felt worthwhile for that one event. Would I pay again? Nah, the self supported approach is my normal preference.

Totally agree. Seems like a lot of money, but, in his words "a bit of cash back would be nice, but we've already written off the cost, it would just be good to have the places being taken"

So if you're keen, but don't want to pay much (anything), let me know!
