FCOL don't stand in the middle of the singletrack chattering away to your mates. 👿

As you were clearly in the wrong, an apology should have been forthcoming. 🙄

Manners FAIL.

Fools.

Elf - I'm a lady so that means I don't spit! Words departed my mouth though. 🙄

You where lost then, to be on the singletrack or perhaps you got it mixed up with the magazine of the same name.

Strangely i have the same problem in tesco, women always seem to chat in front of exactly what i need to throw in the trolley.

had this at Afan once, group of guys stood in the middle of the singletrack chatting. A polite 'could you just let us through there please' on my approach was met with a 'how much room do you need then mate ?' 😯

I get more annoyed by people standing on the landings of jumps, and you dont see them until you've passed the 'i'm commited to jumping this jump' point when on a fast flowy trail.

It's so frustrating when you're in the 'zone' and are really 'flowing'. Actually that's in my imagination. 😳

Jumps - yeah know what you mean. 😉

Once had it at Swinley with one of the bike mags doing a shoot and bikes all laying down across the trail while they faffed about, they did apologise tho. What I find even more annoying is people pushing their bikes back up trails they want to session when there is an easy way that doesnt get in everybodys way, Swinley users will know what I mean, its why I pretty much never go there at the weekend.

catfood - it wasn't too bad there today. In fact I reached the ridge for Deer Stalker etc and there was not a soul to be seen! How unusual is that! Understand completely what you are saying though.

Quite a lot of fire damage on the way to the ridge (on the RMA side), still smouldering too.

terrahawk - it was a training ride.

Funnily enough, I got a really hard time from 2 women at GT because they were standing in the middle of the trail on the blind side of a jump looking at a child who had completely recovered from having fallen off 5 minutes previously, but I had the damned cheek to be riding my mountain bike on the mountain bike trail, so I'm an unfeeling swine.

terrahawk - I do vary locations but Swinley is nearby, although a victim of its own success.

In fairness, I guess we forget that others folk want to enjoy the trail.

My most awesome gnarr moment ever was at Llandegla when I got to one of the jumpy sections I was used to and found two chaps sat at the top of one of the jumps, one on either side of the trail. I jumped right through the middle of them, I swear my back wheel passed a few inches from one of their heads.

Sadly they clearly don't post on here or you'd have heard about my awesomeness from them.

I find it very annoying that riders stand across a track or worse in groups loiter and have little chats and do other shit. I don't go to trail centres to pootle along, I want to work on my riding skills and enjoy myself.

I tend to just keep going and shout YOUR BLOCKING THE TRACK! that and the fact I wear armour all the time due to crashing and don't slow down, gets most ego strokers out of the way! 😀
