No work this week to clear the head from, but a Friday evening spin round the local still hits the spot.
'Hold my beer' said rOcKeTdOg...

Only a quick (mostly tarmac) blast since the forecast looked grim. Turns out I could've had a proper ride, but still nice to get out.
Went up onto Cutgate from Langsett and came back via North America which has now started to weather since it was sanitised which makes it alot better.
Very windy up on the top but suprizingly dry

Local ride, never seen it as muddy, is it ever going to stop raining!
Felt hard after a week away in the sun with only some easy tarmac/gravel rides 🥵
Still the sun came out and it was warm enough for the beer garden 🍻

It did, but not on my foot!
It is starting to dry out (at last). More rain forecast next week though 🙄

(Thanks @frogstomp yup I missed this thread )
So same photos as my other, failed thread...
Here’s a picture of me falling off a rock roll into a tree at Stainburn. Low res as it’s a screen cap from a video.
No harm done!

Trails were, amazingly, riding really well for the most part.
Here’s some not falling over bits:

@Tracey good to hear cut gate is running well. I have the week off so might head up there at some point if the rain stays away long enough
“FORD impassable at all times”
Not really a ford then. Would almost suggest the word “river”

Well it looked like the river had taken it over, I didn't fancy it
I went across what we call a 'Floodway' here last week. Looked innocuous enough. 15 metres wide a bit of flow, but not too deep... except where the floodway had washed away, my front wheel disappeared underwater and I was very wet.
Fortunately many miles from people or cameras!

Spin round from Salcombe. A bit underbiked in places. I can recommend the ice cream.

It was one of those rides. Dalby off piste was moist and slippery. 😂
@relapsed_mandalorian was any of the off piste still running prime? We had a great ride there last weekend, lots of it running really well (some bits of mud here and there. Was pondering making another visit
It was pretty greasy dude, few spots were drying out as the day went on so was running better eventually.
Not sure how much rain is forecast over that way this week which might change things up.
Nice one, cheers 👍
Was going to head up the hills on sun but the wind blowing me about put me off. Wet along the river side as well
