Hi,

I have just got a lovely new Bronson that's fitted with a 38/24 double. I'm getting chain rub on the front mech when in the granny and the smallest 4/5 cogs. Can someone recommend a mech to remedy this? I think the current one is M786, but not 100%.

Thanks,

Does it do it when you are sat on the bike, or just when it's on the stand?

Brant - hmm, good question! It did it in the smallest gears whilst riding but after some adjustemnt (the correct way) on the stand it seemed worse. I'll check - thanks.

Davey - My gut isn't too enduro either 🙂

My point is that in order for it to shift properly it might end up rubbing when the suspension is topped out in those gears.

Top marks to Brant, a quick spin has revealed it is OK when not in the stand - lesson learnt.

Thanks
