So I've bought one of the new Deore 24-38 10 speed double chainsets.

However, I have an XT crank running as a single, but was originally a triple.

With them being the same bolt centres, would there be anything to stop me using the XT crank arms with the chainrings off the Deore?

Or could there be possible issues with chainline etc?

Nope, that'll be fine. I did just that before I went 1*10.
