I'll be working on the new solar farm at Wareham for a month, so - what's the riding like in the area?

Technicality/elevation etc? Just watched a video of Wareham Forest - looks ok, if a little flat.

Cheers

It's quite flat, ok for technical singletrack and perfect for singlespeeding but for the good stuff puddletown is where it's at.

Cheers Jimmy - looks ok.

Also looks very easy to get lost - are there many group rides in the area?

Dorset rough riders do Wareham forest every Wednesday from the claypipe pub, for puddletown just park on the road alongside the forest and follow your nose, ride up the fire track and look at the side for trail entrances.
If you want a guided tour give me a shout (email in profile). I'm normally there at least once or twice a week. 4-5ish after work or weekends.

Nice one - I'll be down there from 8th Sept. Will give you a shout if I manage to get off site at a sensible time
