I've one too, still used occasionally. I'm sure I've got a Mint Sauce Key Ring somewhere too.

I hate to ask, but could I borrow it for a while?

Still got mine. I had no idea Joe M had anything to do with them.

I'm not sure about the Joe Murray bit either; I recall that they were made in Middleton near Manchester and the first MTB team I raced for were sponsored by them.

That was a superb tool...mine was pinched by someone who decided to do a runner after a drug deal went south (he arranged to get his bike nicked, then traded it in for cash at a local bike shop, police went to flag bike and it was there...however in the meantime he got insurance money and bike sale money and bought a shedload of drugs, but got caught before they arrived and he grassed everyone up - so he did a runner)...still miss the tool, but no idea where he ended up or is now!

My old Cool Tool (must have had it since the late 90s) sits in my desk drawer at school (along with an old pump and a puncture repair kit), ready for the inevitable 'oh, you have a bike problem, go and see sir - he knows about bikes' moments.

I had a Cool Tool for 25 years until someone decided to whip it off my bike along with my tool tool outside a supermarket, more fool me.

A nice man on here gave me his instead. It's an excellent piece of kit.

Ah yes, sorry...it is a boring story, he broke his chain twice on way back from a ride and as we had to split to go separate ways I gave him the tool in case it split again...the next day he 'arranged' the bike theft...

I’ve got a spare mint sauce key ring…

Original? Has it got the concave thumb-place/worry-relief on Mint’s back? I haven’t been right since I lost mine circa 2001-ish. Cash/swaps waiting!
