Just got back from my 49th ride in a row. So I have managed to ride at least 1 hour every day for 7 weeks.

There were only 2 days it got difficult to motivate myself but we've had great weather (only got rained on twice) and I haven't got a lot of work on at the moment.

My daily average was 89 minutes.

I'm off on my usual Sunday morning ride tomorrow, that should be 3 hours, I'll take Monday, Wednesday and Thursday off to get ready for a monster all day ride around Hawkshead on Friday.

Nice one, how has it affected your weight (if you were trying to achieve weight loss)?

My weight has gone down a bit (5kg) but I really did it for an exercise in self discipline.

I am a bit fitter, but I could do with a day or two off to really benefit from the miles I put in. I'm at that age when I can't do hard rides on consecutive days so I'm hoping that I'll be nicely cooked for the big lakes ride on Friday (and it should be the first hot day of the year too).

Off come the gears next Saturday - Yay!
