Further to the Road:could not resist..... thread, I too succummed last week to my first full carbon road bike. CR1 Pro.
Do I need a Dog fang? never had one previously, or even heard of them, but am obviously precious about the new carbon frame.
Who uses one and should I get one?

I got one with mine.
Saying that, the seat tube flares before the BB and i don't think it sits low enough.
Surely you only need one of these if (a) the gears aren't set up correctly and/or (b) there is some design fault with the bike you just bought?
Meh, the chain can jump off. I've got one on one bike and not on another. Not really life changing either way.
The K-Edge style chain keepers are a better solution anyway IMO if you're going aftermarket.
