Trying to find a good quality, off the peg, 26", QR, rear, cassette, 135mm, rim brake rear wheel!
Short of searching 1998 - any ideas!!!!
Try the likes of SJS cycles. Decathlon did have some - I've two pairs for my commuter MTB - a pair I built up myself with hardly used XT hubs from ebay, and a cheap Decathlon set.
at £45 sale price they drop down on good quality lol
I'm about to replace my rims with these:

You'd think someone would have built them into complete wheels for sale but maybe not.
Decathlon also do this pair...

If you want better you could buy some old Hope hubs and get some built. Doubt you'll find anything ready built at the quality end now.
Ask on Retrobike. You’ll be offered decent wheels for as much or as little as you’d like to spend.
do they need to be off the peg? lots of people would happily build something
There's been nothing new, with good quality, rim braked for 15 years outside of touring bikes
If you want bombproof touring and can wait a few days for it to be built.
£100
does it have to be new? I'm sure loads of us have some sitting around. mine would be X138 rims on STX-RC hubs. free in Doncaster if you want them.
Sorted with sjs cheers
