Just boarded the Reading- Dorking train at Guildford and saw this.. bolt cutters in the water bottle cage.

Going equipped at the very least innit. Unless it's his and he's lost the key for his lock.

The air max trainers don't help his case much...

in his defence he still has reflectors and valve caps - he's not a real cyclist...

Once locked mine and a mates bike up in skipton, he forgot to bring the keys to the lock so we went to the hardware store where the bloke kindly lent us some bolt cutters. They were so blunt it took us 5/10 minutes to cut through the lock. This was a busy Saturday lunch time and nobody paid any attention. We were in biking gear but does make you think!

We once did similar in Darlington, although the thing we'd locked the bikes to was the car rack (we had left the keys behind when we set off on the trip and only realised when we got to scotch corner) so we could at least have proved it was our car - no-one challenged us though!

Someone tried nicking my bike once when locked in a car park near work. They messed the lock up so I couldn't undo it. Went home got a limp hammer an bolster and drove back, smashed the lock off and threw the bike in the car. No one bothered me!

Just someone copying that new trademarked Specialised SWAT system innit
I imagine Specialised lawyers are already tracking them down so you phoning the police will be the least of their worries
