The invisframe I fitted is looking good six months on and seems to have bonded well to the frame. Now I want to fit my rear mudhugger, I don't fancy adding more sticky protection stuff on top of the invisframe, in case the whole lot comes off in one next spring. Does invisframe stay looking nice after a winter of holding a mudhugger on?

I use a couple of loops of insulating tape under the cable ties just to prevent scratching - if the Invisiframe is fitted properly you will have nothing to worry about...

I wouldn't thought so no, thats why I did the ol' bit of inner tube and electrical tape to secure on the seatstays where the mudhugger is attached. Just like what you do to protect the chainstay from chainslap.

Overkill?, perhaps but it works a treat and i've found invisiframe scuffs up quite easily. You can always by spare individual invisiframe bits like I replaced the seattube because it got damaged, but thats kinda expensive.

No, as you tighten the zip ties it will distort it. My solution was to wrap some self amalamating tape around the seat stay. I don't know if it worked as I just left the tape there. I imagine it would come off cleanly enough.

I don't use invisiframe, but have used helitape under a mudhugger almost as a sacrificial part, to good effect...

Invisiframe buckles up pretty much straight away IME from guards, frame bags, mechs etc so I'd be putting a wrap of gorilla tape on top.

No, my first one chewed the frame through the invisiframe. Inner tube on top worked though.

NO, or at least it didnt on mine, the mudguard went through it and the paint. I would suggest some old innertube to protect the frame

This. Keeps frame and guard apart and is easy to replace.
