My account with them seems to be a little screwed, and they're not responding to my emails...
Basically, I log in (with the email address I've been using for a couple of years), place an order, pay by Paypal (logging in to there with the email address I've been using for a couple of years), order is placed but I get a message on the CRC order confirmation page saying that the order confirmation mail has gone to an email address I [b]haven't[/b] used for a couple of years.
I check my order history, and the order isn't on there. I do however get a mail from Paypal telling me that the payment has been made.
Alternatively, has anyone got a phone number for CRC?

Yes, thank you [s]smart @rse[/s] Lifer, I looked on the website, and clicked on the Contact Us link and was given an email address, which I used and had no response, hence my 'not responding to my emails' line. Admittedly, I didn't search further for a phone number, assuming wrongly that CRC were one of the many web-based businesses often like to dissuade people from phoning in. However, thank you for the number.
Cyclistm - yeah, it was, years ago, but isn't any more. There's no mention of the old address on my CRC or Payapl accounts, and hasn't been for years. I use the Paypal account for loads of stuff and never have this problem.
Do real people work at CRC, I thought it was robots thats why you can't ever get through to them.
You don't have "log in" issues at a real shop. you get flapjack instead
I had something similar and the gist of if was ended up with 2 crc accounts - one for my proper email addr and one for my paypal addr. I didnt know I had the 2nd one - or the password.
If you placed an order years back via paypal this should have set up an account with that addr. If you subsequently changed your paypal's associated addr crc wouldnt know that.
Basically try logging onto CRC with the paypal email addresses (new and old) - you wont know the passwords - but follow the "forgot my password" process.

I had the same thing, somehow they emailed my old email address that was registered with my old paypal email, yet 2 days before it all worked fine.
Emailed them, had a response within an hour, very quick communication!
couldashouldawoulda - I think that's what's happened, unfortunately I don't have access to the 'old' account anymore so I can't use the forgot password process. Seems a bit dumb that they can't update the mail address assigned to a Paypal account, and also (possibly) in breach of the DPA, which should be a concern for a large web-based business.
Anyway, I've spoken to them and they've asked me to mail their Paypal team with all the details and they'll see if they can sort it out.
