Like the title says! £36 is a bit salty for SRAM jockey wheels so can anyone recommend an alternative please?

Cheers!

KCNC.

e.g. http://clee-cycles.co.uk/esite/P921/product

That's the ceramic bearing ones. Standard bearing is cheaper. Personally I go with the ceramic bearing ones. More expensive but last longer. Some argue otherwise, but others have said the standard ones don't last. I've never had the ceramic bearings wear out. I've eventually had the teeth go, but taken a hell of a lot longer than the SRAM expensive plastic does to turn into throwing stars. The KCNC also sheds mud well in my experience.

Sadly they have become a lot more expensive. They used to be half the price. Still much better than the SRAM ones though.

Got some Hope ones for around £30. Being metal they've lasted pretty well. Bearings dried out a touch though but easy to add more grease.

Loads of them on ebay. Just make sure they've got the right number of teeth - 11T.

Replaced my 'made of cheese' X0 wheels a year or so back (the bearings fell out when I took them off) and bought a set of ceramic bearinged ones of the bay for £30.

They've been great. Slightly noisier but still looking like new and shed the crap a lot easier due to them being 'spoked' rather than soild.
