The shock for my Stanton should be 230 x 65
It looks like the eye to eye is indeed 230mm and the shaft is 65mm. With the bump stop though there is only around 45mm of shaft that looks like it can be used.
Also, the spring reference suggests it's for a 76mm stroke shock.
Trying to a) work out if the original owner has fitted the right shock and b) decide what spring to buy for my weight (I've run the numbers through a calculator).

Stroke is the whole of the shock travel ( often the whole of the shaft from eyelet face to shock body. The bump stop isn't a hard travel limit, it compresses to take the ensrgy out of the bottom out so you don't get a metal to metal impact.
The bump stop has to be in the stroke of the shock or it wouldn’t work, also they are used to almost make the shock have a bit of progression so compress quite a lot so it’s not a hard stop, they slow the shock down before bottom out.
the only issue with having a spring for a longer stoke shock is it’ll weigh a touch more, going shorter than stroke the coil will compress onto its self before full travel is reached and make a lovely noise when doing so

Not entirely what I meant. The part number on it references that it's for a 76mm stroke shock
The spring just need a long enough stroke to match the shock but not too long that it doesn't fit. You don't tend to find them with an exact 65mm stroke, I think Rockshox cover 10 or 15 ranges.
The 76mm stroke of your coil means it won't bind or bottom out in use with your 75mm stroke shock. The only issues you can have with longer stroke coils (aside from more weight) is that if it's too long then it won't even fit on the shock damper unit.
Basically your coil spring is fine (unless you want to change to a heavier or lighter spring rate)
