Hi all,
I am struggling to find a 29er rigid fork and the Brother Cycles MTB fork ticks all my boxes aside from perhaps the tightish tyre clearance.
I would imagine these are just generic Chinese carbon forks with a logo on, but does anyone have any of the Brother Cycles carbon forks and have any comments on the general quality/ ride feel/ etc?
Ta!

Don't know if it is the same fork but it looks like an Aprebic, a lot of brands buy forks from them so you might get feedback on the fork under another brand

I have a bird bikes steel 29er fork that is basically surplus - one of these https://www.bird.bike/product/bird-blank-rigid-forks-505mm-a2c-1320g/
Thanks both. It turns out the tyre clearance probably is too tight so back to the drawing board.
Thanks for the offer of the Bird fork but too long and too heavy for what I am after.
The search goes on 🙂
I currently have a genesis tarn carbon fork on my 29er, loads of clearance for my 29x2.6 tyre.
I keep looking at these forks from the trek 1120 though. Takes a 3 inch 29er tyre, has 3 bolts and even takes the unique trek front cage/pannier/basket thing they do.
Pretty good value compared to some at £300 ish
The Trek is a decent option but very, very tall.
Travers Prong or eXotic off eBay are looking like the best bets at the moment I think
eXotic is looking more likely as I’d prefer it’s 42mm offset vs the Travers huge 55mm offset (assuming it isn’t a typo!)
ENVE would be lovely but no stock anywhere and obviously a fair chunk more
There’s a nice looking Kinesis carbon fork on EBay at the moment (not mine), would that be any good?
I’m using one of the Trek 1120 forks on my Frontier and don’t notice it being very tall, the 510mm AtoC doesn’t seem excessive and they do ride very nicely.
The Kinesis is a variation on the eXotic and steerer is very short.
I have a 483mm AC height fork at the moment and I'm already at the limit of getting the bars low enough. I can't afford to raise then ~25mm with a ~30mm taller AC height fork I don't think. Handling and geo-wise I'm not worried- it is more a fit issue on my frame
