My hub changes gears fine, makes no grinding noises, freewheels fine etc etc.
However, when coasting / freewheeling, if I tilt the bike to the right, I get a tick tick tick tick ( once per revolution ) from the hub. If I tilt the bike to the left, i get no tick. I sounds a bit like a freewheel click, but its much slower than you're average freewheel sound.
I dont have to tilt it far either ... just off vertical and it'll tick.
Does anyone elses 8spd alfine do this? I'm not overly worried by it, just wondering if anyone else notices the same?
Disc pads dragging (if you have discs...)?
dont think so. its not a disc scuff or ting sound. its more like the click you get from back pedalling ... but only happens when leaned to the right.
