Thinking long and hard about getting a Brooks saddle for my tourer. I've been riding the original Flite saddles and find them amazing comfy but need a new one and the price of a new 'old shape' Flite compared to a nice brooks is not that different.

If you do ride a Flite which Brooks do you use and still find comfy.

Btw - i'm 6.1 foot and racing weight of just over 11st - so not much excess fat on the posterior 😯

So i was thinking either Brooks Swift or Swallow - its a lot of cash to get it wrong.

Flite Ti on my two road bikes and a B17 on the Singlespeed - plus a lot of proofhide after every ride 😆

B17 Narrow is a better match widthwise, bit it's not a big deal for me ( I have very narrow sit bones). I'd get a B17 first before investing mega money on a Swift or Swallow. If you want bling, get a Ti or big rivetted version. Oh and the leather hardness varies by model, so avoid the Colt - had one on my Brompton which took a while to bed in 😕

I used the original Titanium Flite saddles for years and was disappointed when they started messing around with the shape. I searched for a replacement and finally settled on the the Brooks Titanium Swift. As the Flites wear out I'm gradually replacing them with Swifts. Comfort wise I've found the Swift a good match.
