Wonder how good they?
I suffer from arthritis and can see one in my future!
My friend is just recovering from chemo and has bought a Cube e-MTB. It's a good bike (even without the motor) and enables to come out on our group rides, which has been great for his moral.
A mate of mine has breathing difficulties and has a Haibike - seems a half decent bit of kit and he loves it. Not ridden with him though

I have ridden the KTM one (de-restricted) and its amazing, I like the idea that disadvantaged people, or none cyclists can get out on the trails, great stuff
i owned 2 e bikes, thru illness, they kept me riding.
kalkhoff and haibike, which were both fantastic
if you buy one, go for one with the bosch system.
