Description full of errors, front brake hose routing and shifter cable routing screams they've no idea what they're doing.

They're in STWs neck of the woods and plenty more bikes for sale.

Someone who runs a Shigura set-up would never have the lines run like that. At best they're an unwitting fence.

Based on price alone no reason to doubt it. The forks have been spun in place to mess that hose up, which suggests some form of home spannering prior to posting the ad. I'm guessing it's someone trying to turn a profit rather than a straight up thief who wouldn't bother with such things... Where they got it from is anyone's guess.

Definitely dodgy. Looks like they're fencing a pile of stolen bikes. I added the number on WhatsApp to see what popped up. They have their whatsapp profile setup to delete messages after 7 days so clearly someone trying to destroy the evidence timeline.

Private seller with nearly 20 bikes for sale would put some of the n+1 addicts on here to shame.

But no, not someone I'd be buying anything off.

"They have their whatsapp profile setup to delete messages after 7 days so clearly someone trying to destroy the evidence timeline."

Or a politician.

There is a (grainy) photo of what I assume is the seller with their partner and kids in the background of the Cannondale Neo 3.1.

I messaged and he says they are "ex display/demo bikes from shops that sell new bikes but don't want to stock old models". Hmmm I mean it could be legit but does look dodgy from first impressions.

So just the kind of seller that HMRC will have got their eyes on then.

sold multiple bikes, has 10+ bikes for sale,

mobile number in listings, ebay will likely ban him,   [report button] sometimes works :0)
