Just wandering at what point things 'slow down'?
I definitely have more fun on the bike as each year passes, what about you lot?

I'm guessing that you're quite young..?

Depending on injuries and family/work commitments, every year I get fatter and thinner, not faster and slower

at the moment I'm super fast*, come the rains in mid May I'll be super slow.

*this is completely speculative as I don't actually measure how fast I'm going

I'm having a good year too... In my last one of my thirties so it had better be good! Strava has helped my uncompetitive nature and I'm riding harder than I used to. I've changed to a Ti456 as my *only* mountain bike and that's made me enjoy the offroad riding more than I have for yonks. The only thing that's slowing down is my ability to recover. Ah well... can't have it all. 😉

I'm faster than last year but considerably slower than 2011 and a fair bit slower than 2010.
