Just wandering at what point things 'slow down'?
I definitely have more fun on the bike as each year passes, what about you lot?
I'm guessing that you're quite young..?
Depending on injuries and family/work commitments, every year I get fatter and thinner, not faster and slower
at the moment I'm super fast*, come the rains in mid May I'll be super slow.
*this is completely speculative as I don't actually measure how fast I'm going
At 53 I'm up on last year.
yeah but you was crap last year 😉
47 and the fastest I've been for years.
Did a hilly 85 miler yesterday averaging 17.5mph
43. Riding faster and harder up and down than ever before.
I'm having a good year too... In my last one of my thirties so it had better be good! Strava has helped my uncompetitive nature and I'm riding harder than I used to. I've changed to a Ti456 as my *only* mountain bike and that's made me enjoy the offroad riding more than I have for yonks. The only thing that's slowing down is my ability to recover. Ah well... can't have it all. 😉
yeah but you was crap last year
I'm furiously banging away at the report button 😡
I'm faster than last year but considerably slower than 2011 and a fair bit slower than 2010.
I'm also faster than last year but considerably slower than I was 3-4 years ago.
good years and bad years. age seems irrelevant.
Doin alright thanks fer askin.
Some years are better than others though, a couple of years ago I Woz Ossum, last year I Woz Pants, this years goin well.
104 years and still kickin it.
So far I've got faster and fitter every year but that's only been a few years.
Some up some down a mixture of weather , work and crashes
So far this year i seem to be back to my form of 2011 before my last proper crash
42 and still improving, I think..
