Anyone had issues getting DYEDbro tape to stick? Went to fit some to my new hardtail last night and it just wouldn't stick around the tubes.

Paint finish is matt so could that be the issue? Maybe heating with a hair dryer would help? Or is it a duff batch?!

Not heard of that stuff but if it's similar to helitape and invisiframe then yes, hair dryer required.
Some good vids online for invisiframe etc.

Did you de grease the frame first ...not with actual degreaser of course
For Matt frames isopropyl is fine but autoglym tar and glue remover works best .

Brand new frame so as clean as it'll ever be.

Tried a hair dryer which helped it become a bit more malleable. Top tube and down tube strips went on reasonable well but squarer section tubes not so much.

New frames are still covered in oils, grease etc and need cleaning with tar remover and isopropyl alcohol.

Not a correct assumption.

Apparently so.

Maybe I've been lucky in the past then as I've not had a problem with various tapes sticking to new frames. I'll clean it as best I can and try again 👍
