From a glance it appears they don't but do dealers have access to frame only options? Looking at a 629 for a winter hardtail from my spare parts!
No.
Nope, my boss (bike shop manager) couldn't even blag one from the rep. Full bike only
I've tried and tried.
In the end, bought myself a 629 last year (at least being a shop owner I get trade discount) and sold all the parts off and ended up with the frame, headset and a couple of other bits for what I consider to be reasonable money.
Mines built with 120mm Revelations, Mavic Crossmax XL's, 1x11 X01, a Reverb, 750mm bars and a 55mm stem. It's such a capable bike both up and downhill. Geometry is bang on 67deg HA, 308mm BB height, 1170mm wheelbase (mine is a 2016 medium), but the bare frame only weighs just over 4lb so it builds nice and light too.
I've got a 2012 829 medium frame sitting around doing nothing if interested. drop me a txt on 07771637237 could throw in some parts too if needed
What shop do you own Mboy? It's in malvern?
Oh, I have a 2013 629, it's excellent. I'd love to try it with the newer geometry.
Thanks for the offer variflex but I'm after a large 2017 model!
Will have to work out whether I can sell the parts for enough to make it work financially

You going for a Mondraker style zero extension stem on it? Have you seen the reach figures?!?! 2017 medium is a bit big for me even with the stock 45mm stem...

Maybe I need to have a sit on the medium then, hmm. Reach is only 10mm longer than my current bike which doesn't feel too long at all. Don't suppose you've got a large in?
No but got a medium in...
Sold a large the other day, the lad was 6ft3 and it was a perfect fit.
