Been trying over the last year to learn how to bunny hop. Being a roadie who occasionally goes over to the muddy side I can do the English bunny hop with no problems.

Can I get the proper bunny hop right? Frustratingly no.

Can get the front wheel up no problem, can do the rear wheel scoop fine. Try to do them together, nope.

Will keep persevering but I may need to engage the assistance of someone in baggies and flat pedals.

Chuck your job in.
Buy a Carrera, a Burberry baseball cap and some trackies.

Hang about outside the chippy with some yoofs.

You'll soon be bunny hopping like a champ and will be able to manual for miles.

Not that I'm any good, but front wheel first, then back end fractionally later.

This is depressingly true.

Is your seat low? Really low. It's tough to bunny hop properly on a big bike with a high seat.
