I have a pair of open pros, there is a groove in one which looks like a wear indicator, but can’t see any sign on other surfaces. However it may be a groove worn by a stone or something, I don’t remember them having an indicator. Anyone got a set from around 2010 they can check? Googling hasn’t found a satisfactory answer....

if memory serves. .. mavic use an internal marker on open pro rims. look for a
sticker or yellow paint on the rim when tyre and tube are off. think it's
opposite the valve hole ?

seem to recall it's a "hole" rather than a groove though.

Nothing on my Open Pros of that era. They've only been used on disc hubs.
