I've got a tiagra bottom bracket (RS500) on a px fully monty sl frame.

Do I need to use any spacers? I haven't got one on at the minute and its creaking like hell so wondered if some are missing!

Cheers

PX site shows it's a BSA 68

Which normally needs two of the 2.5mm spacers on the drive (chainring) side and one 2.5mm spacer on the non-drive side.

How are the gears shifting?

Just put 105 cranks and bb on my full monty sl and couldn't put any spacers in as the cranks wouldn't reach through.

With mtb cranks and bb I used 2x2.5mm spacers

Cheers - I have an old 105 crankset on it.

Gears shift ok - not great, not that snappy. It’s 9 speed

Aren’t road bike bottom brackets 68mm anyway? So no spacers. Prob you might have is if the frame is meant to be mtb then chain line will be out.
