Ordered a rear mudgard on-line for the gf's bike, black/white to match her frame @ £19.99 (free p&p :-)). What arrives is a black/grey (would still match her frame) but there's a price label on saying £17.99.

Think of it as 17.99 + 2.00 post and packaging.

think about the time and effort it will take to complain. Is that worth 2 quid?

well they should pay for return of the item since its not what you ordered. You an phone up and ask for a refund of £2 as they sent the wrong item, you can phone up and tell them you want the correct item or suck it up and ask your GF for the £2 to cover your costs

I'd imagine Watchdog would be interested in taking up your case

What are you bothered about, the colour or the price?

The colour, sure, it's not as described so in breach of the Consumer Rights Act.

The price, they asked a price, you agreed, they took your money; one contract of sale right there. The fact that it might've once been sold cheaper is irrelevant.

My guess: a teeny bit bothered by the colour. A little bit bothered about the price. Combined: OUTRAGE!!

Ban him! We won't be having people using lazy stereotyping on the forum. Even about themselves!

Seeing as you're English, OP, you should complain to everyone you speak to excepting anyone who can help you resolve your issue.

And then join some kind of queue.
