Just replaced the bushings on my V12's as they were worn and slack. Couldn't find a decent suggestion of how to remove them as they're impossible to knock out.
The DMR tool is just a thread, slightly larger than the bush I.D (12mm)
So I just used a length of 1/2" threaded rod, and screwed it into the bush (using two nuts screwed right against each other but a bolt would do)
You can then use one of the nuts to pull the rod/bush free by tightening it against the pedal body (use a washer not to mark it)
Or just use a vice (no nuts required) to pull the rod and bush out.
Easy! The bearings knock out with the axle, no tool needed.
Brilliant. My bushings in mine are shot to "manure".
Out of interest where did you get bushings and what did you use to fit them back in?
Awesome cheers. 🙂
Read that reply after my second reply!
Pushed the bushings back in with the axle, but they're easy to drive in with a socket, handle end of an old screwdriver, etc
