Hi guys,

Just after a bit of user experience. My deathgrips today felt as though they they were moving on the bar a bit. Must of been only about 5mm but very disconcerting.  Has anyone else experienced this? Must only be about 3 rides old as well.

Cheers

Have you got them fitted properly i.e. right on to the bar?

A friend of mine thought his was on properly but it ended up coming off mid ride. Think it took a fair amount of force to get it right onto the bar.

I thought mine were right on, and then I hit the end with a rubber mallet to be sure. They still had another 5-10mm to go. Worth a try. Im on my 4th set on 3 different bikes and haven’t experienced any movement.

+1 for the rubber mallet. They deffo need a good whack to get in place. Great grips.

I bashed the ends of them when i installed then to make sure they were on. Checked the lockrings were tight too. First two rides were fine but a wet one today and they start slipping.

When you say slipping do you mean torsional movement along their length ie one end fixed the other end rotating or is the whole grip moving?

The whole grip moves but you mainly notice it at the end of the bar.
