I'm after a small DJ type bike that can run gears.
The ones I have found so far are: Kona cowan, STP and Commencal Absolut
Any other frames out there that can run gears and are reasonably light?
Yeti DJ, superb bikes
Too pricey. Looking for something under £200 quid.
cove sanchez? my mate will be selling one as of friday, when his cove shocker arrives, he has done less than 200 road miles on it and a bit of lee quarry. its not got a mark worth a mention. hes looking around the 130 mark, he will also have saint cranks and bb, hope headset, hope dh stem, crankbrother 50/50 pedals. frame comes with seatpost 🙂
Azonic Evolution.
Intense Tazer HT . I run mine with gears and is perfect
Charge Blender, although they've had a price hike recently, I paid £200 new, you can get one for £100 second hand.
ive 2 , ns surge in the larger of the 2 versions and a cove sanchez that needs new paint , email in profile if interested in either cheers 🙂
*STP is lightest suggestion so far.
(*Pre 2011, New ones also have horizontal d/o)
Planet-X Jack Flash if you want to go old skool.
Nukeproof Snap would pass as a light jump frame - £200 atm from CRC

Think NS frames come with an adaptor to run a mech hanger in the horizontal dropouts. Probably a PITA to get the wheel in/out though. There's someone who rides at Woburn that has gears on their NS DJ bike.
dmr bikes. I had a sidekick with a mech hanger.
A blender too, though the mech hanger is non-replaceable.
I picked up a Cannondale Chase frame from eBay for £80, standard drop-outs + mech hanger. Light as f*ck
