I've made my own light for the last 7 or 8 years now but looking to make something new. Currently running a 7-up XM-L (which puts out about 7000lm) and a 2-up XM-L on my helmet.
The 7-up is made up of 2 x 3 + 1 LED's so thinking I can re-use one of the triples for the new helmet light. Then make a new casing for a single multi-led board like this:

Also, what tint do people recommend for night riding? I've normally gone for power but thinking about getting the best light quality.
