Roll of dice probably - why not just put them in the bike bag or hold luggage???

I wouldn't expect you'll be allowed

I zip tie mine into the rear triangle so they can't come into contact with anything. Or if they do, bent rotors are the least of my worries.

Packing tip for mine is 3 sheets of cardboard and some insulation tape, then either in a pocket or somewhere rigid in the bag.

Bike already transported (and bent one of the rotors so I’m taking a replacement

I guess the best thing is to ask when I arrive and check bag if needed

Or just order a new rotor to the destination, shiny and new waiting for you there!!

Should be ok.  I once took car brake discs in luggage, to Northern Ireland, security just shook their heads and I carried on...

I once took

Which heightened state of airline security was this during?

If you are going to try it pop one of these in with your destination address and stamps on

Check in will just say check it (and you will pay extra if you don't have luggage included

New rotor in package it came in, sealed. Shouldn't be an issue. SRAM even do ones with rounded edges now.

I was going to say.  If the security agent is a roadie, they'll probably cower in the corner, fearing the impending serious lacerations that could be caused by such a dangerous item.  If they're absolutely anyone else, they probably won't care.
