Now here is an exiting topic to liven up your Friday.

I pringled a rotor, and my hamfisted attempt to true it, it now resembles a quaver.

It's an Avid G3 clean sweep and im running some very average Elixir brakes which can make some racket when wet. Question is which rotor? those uberbike/clark ones? or just a direct replacement? and they're are plenty of cheapo Chinese copies floating about..is it really going to make much difference?

I realize that a change in rotor isn't going to drastically improve anything much..except colour coded ones obviously make you rad.

Most of the 'copies' are the originals, i.e. They are rebadged Chinese, or more likely Taiwanese made products. TBH you probably can go wrong with a superstar/uber rotor, but I will say the centreline design Sram release to kill their brake squea does actually help a lot.
