Hi all
Just thought I'd try these 183mm hope rotors in place of the original 160mm , I had a spare adaptor that fits the front ok ish, but the rear looks to be a mahoosive one? Anyone point me in right direction for the correct mount inc bolts,

By the way I'm keeping the front at 183mm but trial and error on the rear and the reason being that I just could not get rid of the horrendous screech it makes, even after a new calliper and pads and an alcohol disc clean, it just won't go away . It's a carbon hard tail stump jumper frame and I'm wondering if the frame creates the vibration? God knows?

So thought I'd try a different size disc .

iirc rear is the same as front but minus 20 mm

ie you need a front 203 or rear 183 post to post to fit

Front looks the wrong way round

Yeah it looks awkward I agree but the arrow is pointing upwards and the calliper pads have good around contact , just at a mega angle.
Wonder if there's another mount that would sit better?

Are they the correct adapters for those brakes?

As to the screech, I wonder if it's possible to reverse the disc. As it is now, the spokes work in compression, so 'chatter' could lead to the noise. Will them in tension it might not happen.

Don't do that.

No , It's not the correct adaptor,

The callipers are avid ultimate and the discs are hope 203mm.
So do I need avid adaptors or hope adaptors ?
And do I need 183mm on the front and 203mm on the rear ? (Both p to p)

I would imagine its best to use avid adaptors with avid brakes.
