I've always had forks with IS caliper mounts. I now have a Rockshox SID fork wih a post mount. What adaptor do I need for a 200mm rotor?

Does anybody know if you can use a 203mm adaptor with a 200mm rotor?

No, the pads will stand proud of the rotor by 1.5mm and as the pads wear they'll develop a lip on the outer edge which after a while will touch each other and your brake will stop working..

OP are you sure you want to put a whopping 200mm rotor on a SID fork which is a lightweight xc fork?

Short answer is no, I don't, but the longer answer is that it's cheaper than the alternative and still within SRAM's recommended maximum 😉

i didnt realise an xc fork would be allowed to run such a big rotor...i would have thought 180mm would be the max.
