So I think I'm being stupid but trying to find an adapter to fit these old forks and their tabs.

I have some Formula RX which are post mount but can't seem to find an adapter that fits as the tabs aren't threaded?

Trying to get a 160mm disc adapter.

Any help really appreciated as I'm scratching my head!

Thanks

IS to post mount adapter. Threads are on the adaptor you bolt through the mount on the fork.

And for a 160 up front you need a 0mm adaptor.

IS to Post Mount Adapter. Looks like below, just get the appropriate size.

Edit: Ah well, too slow.

Edit: This should be ok.

On the phone so, can't be 100% sure, as CRC mobile site is a bit wonky. So hopefully someone can double check.

Any IS to post mount adapter should work.

This is the proper Formula (and very expensive) one: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/formula-front-is-mount-adaptor/rp-prod64796?utm_source=Google&utm_medium=Shopping&utm_name=UnitedKingdom&gclid=CJe97v7QsL8CFVIPtAodQHoAaw&gclsrc=aw.ds

but generic ones like superstar or other brands like shimano should fit.

Thanks guys. Still not getting how I attach. I have a superstar adapter but there are no threads in the tabs!!! Like I will need to get a longer bolt and a nut for the other side.??

Hmm that wont work* not enough gap between adapter and rotor.

So there are 4 holes in the adapter and only the post mount ones are threaded?

*i ghink

Thinking about it, is the adapter a post mount to IS rather than IS to post?

The adapter I have is PM-IS. I still can't see that any adapter will fit. It's like I need a specific caliper?

These forks were off an old orange P7 so will try looking up the original specifications.
