Is the push up at Dirt Farm rideable? I can't find much info about this online...

Sort of. For me part of it is a bit too steep so I usually walk the steepest bit, especially if I'm intending to do a whole day of it.

Good surface but very steep and will have tractor and trailer passing regularly. I wouldn't fancy trying to ride it.

I've been in the past without full day uplift and just bought a couple of uplifts and sessioned different bits to maximise time on the hill. If you're wanting to do full runs I would recommend a full day uplift.

Thanks both, sounds like uplift is the way.

I've never ridden it but it doesn't look very enjoyable, mostly because it's very narrow with lots of big tractors trying to get through. The uplift is so good there that it's silly not to take advantage

Slightly off topic, but the staff there are saints. If I spent all day lifting honking great eBikes up on to the trailer I'd last 5 mins before banning them from the trailer and pointing them directly at the ride/push up route!

If you really want to ride up but are not feeling the steep hill, you can actually relatively easily ride up the long way round. A few short steeper bits but mostly a nice gentle climb (albeit a fair bit longer than the uplift route). On the map the uplift is the purple and the long way is the orange route. Mostly tarmac with the last bit on bridleway which is actually a gravel access road. It will mean opening and shutting about 4 gates mind.

On an ebike the tractor slows you down. I wouldnt dream of pushing or riding a motorless bike up there.
