It's so long ago I've forgotten, was it a PITA to do transfers?

I had to manually approve each team entry one at a time into the league, not putting and ad all button was frustrating... Thanks for putting your hand up 😉

You can get planning now, if you wish...
http://dirtmountainbike.com/features/dirt-trek-downhill-fantasy-league-riders-prices.html#tdwpDCi3RvWTH2tp.97

BTW The £350k for Gwin appears to be his actual pay, if reports were accurate.

Sam Hill seems like an outside bargain.
Got my team sorted. Just debating Manon or Atherton, seems either one has a great season.

Yep, much harder to pick this year than previously. I think the pricing on the men is a bit off myself, prices are too close together at the top.

Sam Hill will surely be more pricey in the final version!

I seem to be suffering from some kind of mental malaise, I cannot find where to sign up for the actual fantasy league, I can only find the pieces on dirt stating that there is a league.

Game main page...
http://fantasy.dirtmountainbike.com/default.aspx#2fd5eEiEptYBwDrF.97

Singletrack World Cup URL...
http://fantasy.dirtmountainbike.com/league.aspx?page=league&id=10105

League name: Singletrack World Cup
PW: stwc

New rules this year...

Entrants have to post their team name in the thread, so we know who's who.

And no teams joining after round 2 - so we don't get carpetbaggers joining late in the day.

Hands up anyone who hasn't bought Sam Hill

Here, and as much as I would love to see him have a stormer, I can't see him stringing a full consistent season together based on the last Couple of years.

I'm in, "Morning (giant) Glory"

Rachel in the womens as there's nothing to suggest her hold on the top has been weakened.

Undecided in the mens whether to go for a couple of big names and some filler, or a more even spread of top 5-10 riders.

A Line Too Far submitted for approval.

Initial team picked based on previous form, price and if they're on a new team or not, which can often put a spanner in the works. Lots of time for things to change between now and season start too.

But he is likely to score more points (and probably lots more) than anyone else priced at 150k. Although I was tempted to go for Laurie Greenland, it usually seems to take a few years to step up from juniors to seniors podium, but he is maybe a bit special and could buck the trend.

Hippos Yawn Racing

Ratboy
Greenland
Mick Hannah
Hill
Manon

Might change before it kicks off though, not sure on Hannah and Greenland might be a risk

Sick Mick seems a surprisingly popular choice.

I love his style, but he seems to have struggled to find form in recent years.

Wouldn't see Lourdes as his track but he might be practicing Cairns as I'm typing this!

Weird we have about six teams that nobody has claimed and maybe four of you whose teams haven't appeared in the mini-league.

I suspect the site is on the fritz, maybe drop them a line Deviant?

Minnear for consistency and Sam because he is local and i'm optimistic he will find the form this year. Steve smith, again hopefully back on the pace and Emyr davies as my wildcard. Manon for the girls.

Loic because he's fast

Tahnee because she's fast and rides Transition

Phil Atwill as a wildcard because he is so bloody stylish

Neil Stewart other wildcard, again Transition and damn stylish

Hill because I had 150k left and couldn't really buy anyone as good for it!

My choices are influenced by who I like, Gwin and Gee I just find it hard to cheer for

Thats what I though till I saw him about 17s back on Troy at the nationals last weekend 🙁 But better value that Steve Peat at $175k

Yeah as much as I love Peaty at 175k no chance. Sam might be a mistake but i'm optimistic. Troy is on fire at the moment mind.

I think it was 2 seasons ago she seamed to be ill for most of the season, couldn't shake it off, and she does seem to pick up illnesses quite often. Makes me wonder if she overtrains trying to keep up with her brothers workloads.
