[Closed] Direct Travel Insurance - what are your experiences with them?

I enquired with them about mountain biking cover via email, but I'm a little baffled as to the wording of their reply (see below).

In particular, what exactly are "vertical paths" and "recognised routes"?

Also, there is no personal accident cover - what are the implications of this?

We can confirm our policies are able to provide cover in full for the activity as follows:

Mountain Biking (recreational) – Included automatically at no additional premium.

No cover for competitive mountain biking.
No cover for downhill racing.
No cover for biking on vertical paths.
No personal liability cover.
No personal accident cover.
No cover for bicycles or their accessories under sections F1 to F4 of the policy wording.
Recreational mountain biking can be included but must be on recognised routes
