What's a decent direct mount stem, with a bit of rise without getting silly on price? Currently have a spank spike director, which looks to give a little drop, although is listed as giving 15 degree rise. I would like to get an extra 10-15mm of rise (have already fitted high rise bars).

Director looks like a zero rise... Doing it by degrees doesn't really work with direct mounts, they're so short, it could well be 15 degrees base-to-centre but that still amounts to bugger all.

Funn RSX comes in 10mm I think. 0 or negative seems to be the in thing just now but if you look at slightly older ones you tend to get more rise. Or, Works Components (and probably others) make risers. Or, you can put spacers under the top crown (this messes with the geometry unless you can slide the forks through to compensate- maybe switch to a drop crown)

Looked at the drop top crown, but to do it properly would also require a new lower crown with a longer steerer tube, which becomes very expensive.

The works components spacer is a good idea though, never knew those existed.
