Does anyone have the Canyon Fuel MTB Fidlock bottle and can provide me with the dimensions please?

Got a piggyback shock and space is very very limited. I tried a standard bottle and that didn't fit. This looks like it might work, but it is about £45 so not something I've got play money to try out. So hoping someone has one and can confirm dimensions so I can check it it is likely to fit.

No dimensions on the Canyon website and their online chat is automated so unable to confirm with someone from Canyon.

Thanks.

Not sure about Canyons but YT do a version that fits into a tight space on the Jeffsy which could be worth a look, 600ml bottle

https://uk.yt-industries.com/products/parts/bike-accessories/bottles/335/thirstmaster-4000-bottle-set-jeffsy-mk2-3-izzo-mk1-szepter-mk1/

It won't fit a Whyte E-160 RSX , I've already tried

Fidlock so stubby large bottles now, i've had good success getting a 700ml bottle wedged in my medium trek top fuel where a "normal" bottle had no hope

What bikes are people trying to find a bottle for here? I had that YT bottle on my old Whyte G160 with an X2 shock, which was very space limited. Don't have one to measure anymore, but it was a fair chunk shorter than a 185mm Elite Fly (the smallest "normal" bottle I could find)

That Thirst master thing looks like it should do the job...need dimensions though as it is still £30 to throw at something that may not fit.

@Dick we sell (Bird) the bottles and can also check it on an Aether for you. I also found a few angle adjusters too. Just give us a call! Depending on the shock I can make a 600 work no problems, maybe even the fat 750.

Ask and you shall receive (but you'll have to translate from freedom units) https://www.mtbr.com/threads/yt-thirstmaster-4000.1191259/#:~:text=Mine%20measures%20approximately%206.75%22%20x%203%22%20x%202.75%22.

Also probably a good time to mention;

- The cap is the same as one from a £2 Halfords bottle

- The cap also leaks a little just like the Halfords bottle

- It's not a very squashy bottle, so not as nice to use as a normal one (does the job though)

- Mine rattled and needed a cable-tie around it all to stop it (seems to be a common Fidlock thing)

Not off the top of my head but I'll check it when I get home. As its for a Bird I'd take Ben's advice to be honest, if anyone should know what works I'd guess it's him.  I'm pretty sure YT charged me £45 when I bought it with a Jeffsy a few years ago

Stealth ad. I have a YT Thirstmaster 2000 and cage I could part with. A couple of marks on the bottle from fitting but never used, a failed experiment due to limited clearance.

Biggest longshot ever - if you still have that YT Thirstmaster 2000, I'll take it!
