I've got the Topeak smart head digital one and it works just fine and dandy

Topeak here too. (it has a good tune/relief valve mode) Only bummer is inaccuracy. It's precise- you get repeatable readings- but it's not accurate, I have 2 and they read pretty differently. That's not cool, in such an expensive gadget. Still, it does the job.
