I have a ****ed right leg and someone recently commented that my left leg was noticeably bigger.

Left Thigh : 558mm
Left Calf : 432mm

Right Thigh : 553mm
Right Calf : 393mm

Anyone else got different sized legs. Any noticeable effects?

I don't have numbers but my left leg disappeared during a bad back flare up. Then the cartlidge went on that side. Or the knee went knackering by back. Who knows

The left is still thinner and weaker despite an amount of work. Its getting stronger. Now its stronger i'm better stood up but i never really noticed it being weak

I have a one legged friend who'll do 100 mile days on the back of the a tandem. I also read about a guy who lost a leg. He had loads of power data before and aftet. He recons for efforts over 6 minutes were the same before and after loosing a leg.

So my attitude is that i shouldn't moan about having one leg that is a bit weak

Got a smaller right calf muscle, shorter lower leg and very limited ankle movement having been born with a club foot back in 1958. Had an op when I was 10 to sort of correct it but in those days physio was a quick pull and push once a week. Was very conscious of it as a teenager but never stopped me throwing myself around a squash court to a reasonable standard and table tennis/badminton. Can't really run properly but sure doesn't stop me riding mtb and road even in my sixties.
