Cant imagine why there would be problem. I'm sure it's partner will turn up somewhere, some place. Also, it may be possible for you to just buy 2 of the brakes, flip the lever and stick in a longer hose for the back. (depends on brake obviously)

only issue is carrying extra pads... apart from that, i've done it before.

I've done it before, but only for a ride because I've naffed up one of the others.

I simplified that by having 4 pairs of Elixirs now so all bike have the same rotors and same pads..easy!

Also what Mackem said...most manufacturers are going with the 'flip flop' design I guess it saves massively on their tooling if they only have one lever to produce?

Just buy two fronts/Rear and an either cut it or buy an extra bit of hose 🙂

ooh bargain, I believe Shimano are flippable. Start a thread asking the question, someone will know.

I run an old 4 pot XT and an old Hope M4. Luckily they both use the same pads. But they need different oil which is slightly annoying.

Wolfenstein, as far as I remember, that model of brake is not flipable. But it probably still work upside down. It would make it a farse to bleed.
