Just wondering if they ever did a ti version in the past?

Overweight, singlespeed, cross bike, without any mud clerance*, in Ti.

Niche tastic

*tongue in cheek, but it did always seem a bit inbetween niches and comprimised, which is why I never bought one.

yes but comfy lighter than steel, littel maintenance commuter that takes gaurds rack and is fun to ride on broken roads and forest tracks on the extended commute would be ideal

It was never a cross bike. People just used them for that.

what was it designed for if not cross?

Had mine for years and rode it in a bunch of setups. I loved it, it had a sweetspot for handling with shorter than stock forks, around 370-380mm long. now replaced by a much nicer looking but admittedly worse handling frame.

I've been waiting ages for the steel ones to come back into stock. I've emailed and phoned numerous times for a date, all to no avail.
