I got one last year as my Winter bike and really enjoyed using it, particularly on the night rides over the winter.

Want to go tubeless on it this year. I'm fairly sure someone on here did convert the old black framed Bizango to tubeless?? Rims are non branded, just have the Bizango logo on them. Guessing they are probably Alex rims.

Anyway, don't want to bother if I have to go "ghetto" with inner tubes etc. and all that lark.

Want to know if they can go "proper" tubeless. Ie. Just some rim tape, valves and sealant?

Thanks for help guys as always!

Me.
I managed to get them tubeless, but I used some Stan's rimstrips outta my old 26ers. It was a bit of a faff, if I remember rightly. The rimstrips would ruck up when I put the tyre on. Although, that was probably more to do with me not getting the correct gear, before I started the job, rather than the rims.
I ended up getting some Superstar wheels in one of their sales. And some of that rim tape off ebay.

Yes.
No problems. Gorilla tape, valves cut from old tubes, Stans.
Original black wheels and Ardents.

I couldn't get mine up, only rims I have had an issue with. Mind they are probably battered as I only tried last year and it's done quite a lot of miles. Contemplating new wheels for it as it's still my spare and fun to ride.
