Im a big fan of the 'Seth Bikes Hacks' vids and recently watched the one where he upgrades a pretty nice looking hardtail . Just been on the US website and their full suss bike is pretty much a Nukeproof mega. Compare that to the UK site and we have pretty much Halfords Voodoo style bikes .
Are they a different entity .?
Edit just noticed Diamond back UK site is 2017 so probably answers my own question.
Last time I got sweaty-palms over a Diamondback was around 1994 when I got to heft one of these in the LBS (nickel-plated Apex True Temper XT)
It didn’t weigh much and looked ace. Think it was about £700-£800 in old money.

Then I had a V Link, which worked out as a great soft-tail (really), though was designed as a full sus 😂
I've got a good quality bmx from them.full cromo. In the uk Raleigh own them.thikk they still do s few decent bmx bikes as well as many cheaper ones.
Yes you got it
Raleigh own the rights to the diamond back name in the UK and sell a completely different range of bikes
Trading on reputation of old.
shame as you say the USA bikes look good
Wow theres some decent diamond backs in the USA is it me or are they very good prices.
It works both ways.
A Raleigh USA hardtail, earlier today:
