Probably because people only talk about 650b now. They bring the trail alive you know!

Sorry, completely unhelpful but I couldn't resist 😆

Still happy with my El-Mariachi though so not an issue 🙂

A 21" one would be nice please, the 19/19.5" alberts aren't quite big enough 😉

+1 Loco.

Seems a bit odd the biggest size will only fit riders up to 6ft 2" or thereabouts.

Maybe if you like a yard and a half of seatpost sticking out when you have the saddle at pedalling height 😉

Funny, I emailed Mike yesterday about this, the project is not shelved and is still very much a work in progress, revised prototypes are in the works.

19.5" Albert classic just big enough at 6'3", over 2 hours in the saddle could do with a larger frame to give a bit more room to move about.

I suppose it depends where your height is...

All my bikes have been 19"/Larges, and I've never had to have loads of seatpost showing.

Are you guys (if you don't mind me asking) long in the leg?

🙂

Probably because people only talk about 650b now. They bring the trail alive you know!

Also, 60% of all 29er talk was people taking the piss, now that's all transferred to the even more piss-take-able 27 inchers. Which you might think, with your fancy maths, would mean there's still 40% of the original 29er chat but actually it's meant we've dropped below criticality and now there's no 29er chat at all.

now there's no 29er chat at all.

That's not quite true. There is still:

Pussywillow ranting in a barely coherent manner about 29ers not being any good for technical trails
Hora going on about them being for mid-life crisisers
A thread asking if the FF29 is any good, just as the previous thread on that topic drops off the front page

And I still can't work the list BBCode.

You don't ever come riding anymore though Boz! (much like Ben, bloody girlfriends!)

Northwind, trust me, if I wasn't posting tongue in cheek silly comments then I'd be waffling on about how much I like my new 29er 😉

Pussywillow doesn't count as "chat", it's just the internet equivalent of background radiation.

Spot on, my mid-life crisis is I'm a crap rider and need all the help I can get. Love my 29ers!

Hoping to get Mk2 prototypes soon.

Mk1's rode nice but I had the pfaff of having to use a custom seat tube to accommodate common sized dropper posts, seat clamps and front mechs.

Reynolds now make an off the shelf 631 tube to the dimensions I originally wanted, so it made sense to order new samples with that tube and a few additional tweaks.

I'll put some pics out there once they arrive/are built up.

Thought I'd missed a new wheel size there for a minute!

Mike never added me as a friend on Facebook so that was the end of me potentially buying anything from Dialled Bikes.

Sorry 6079smithw. Nothing personal. The Dialled Bikes Facebook page seems to get targeted by a lot of spammers trying to befriend it so for a while I just accepted friend requests from people with mutual friends or if their profiles had photos of bikes/riding on it.

Best way to contact me is always by e-mail.

Talking about long seatposts and Dialled PA's , Im 5' 9" and ride a 15 1/2" and feel the bike is perfect. Im even thinking of getting it resprayed as I'd struggle to find a hardtail frame I like as much even though It is a basic 520 mkII frame.
Anyone else ride a PA that is the size down from what they need. ?
