Just speccing out my new build. Is it worth going for the bar-end ports or sticking with the usual 3-port under-stem thing?

I've just upgraded from a 3-port to the bar end. It's a bit of a faff to fit, but it's SO much neater in use. Definitely worth the change if it isn't much more expensive.

I think it’s about 5 euros difference. I need to check with the guys at r2-bike that they have given me all the right cables.

On the subject, if I want to use the app to change settings do I need that Bluetooth/ant component?

Bar end plug is every time.

for blue tooth you need WU-111 and the newest seat post battery

battery should be less of an issue on a new build just a problem when upgrading older bikes

I wouldn’t change a bike already set up, but if building new I would go for bar end every time.
